Merrill Lynch Builds Dutch Wealth Management with Two Hires

Merrill Lynch has strengthened its Global Wealth Management business in the Netherlands with the appointment of two financial advisors, Stefan Huls and Marcus Schalkwijk.

The pair will focus on advising business owners, corporate executives and high net worth individuals. They will be based in Amsterdam and London, reporting to Geoffrey Bruyn, GWM market leader for the Netherlands.

Mr Huls joins from Schretlen & Co, where he was a senior banker with responsibility for the wealth management of private clients in the east of the Netherlands. Mr Schalkwijk joins from Citigroup Global Markets in London, where he was a private banker.
